Why do we include a weather report in our monthly sightings video?

Having an idea of what the weather was doing during the time of seeing a whale, dolphin or harbour porpoise is important because it dictates the conditions out at sea. Wet, wild and windy weather means it’s much trickier to spot and I.D. cetaceans accurately, compared to looking out over water that’s a smooth as a mill-pond.
